No, she’s not saying that they where getting married and that he stud her up. Not that literal at least. She said “You lowdown boy, you stand up guy” she’s talking about how this man told her everything she wanted to hear. Painted pictures of a future that wasn’t real. He promised her everything, love bombed her. Pretend to be a stand up guy. She’s talking about starting up a relationship with someone from the past thinking this was the one but in the end wishing she wouldn’t have let it stay buried. Wishing she wouldn’t have believed “the conman” My interpretation is that it’s the loss of the dream, the picture he painted and all the promises he made that is the loss of her life.
